What does each claim say, in one sentence a non-specialist can read?

Mechanical: re-runnable from its declared inputs.

Part of Measures — What can be measured over the tree - its coverage, its wording, whether its code re-runs?

How it works

One call per paper: every claim of that paper — its role, its stance, its panel and the authors' wording — and back one sentence each, under about 130 characters, carrying no statistics. The terms of art the claim is *about* are kept, because a reader who does not know what the anterior insula is still learns the claim is about a brain region; the jargon that is about the analysis rather than the finding is translated.

A validator gates the write: every slug answered and no slug invented, one sentence each, and none of the eight shapes a statistic takes. Nothing is written until it passes, so the artifact cannot hold a wording that quietly failed the rule the prompt states.

--dump-prompt and --answer are the pair every layer a model answers carries, and the corpus's own wordings came through them: written by a model that is not the one wired in, fed back through the same validator, and recorded as supplied: rather than as a call that never happened.

Nothing — this is a leaf.

How it is defined

A model answers this layer, so the prompt is the layer. It is reproduced below from the committed file, and it is a declared input — editing it makes every run that used it stale.

scripts/plain_claims.pythe script that runs itnot in the repository

The declaration names this path and the repository does not have it. An input that does not exist hashes to nothing, so it cannot make a run stale — the layer is declared to depend on something it is not in fact tracking.

Running it

The command comes from the declaration, so this text and what actually runs cannot diverge. pipeline.py run also runs the unmet dependencies first.

python3 scripts/pipeline.py run <paper> plain-claim

Underneath, that runs python3 scripts/plain_claims.py {paper} --answer runs/{paper}/plain-claim.answer.json.
